Sherry Von Oeyen is currently the Minister of Music, including directing the adult choir, handbell choir, and being the organist at Central United Methodist Church in Staunton. She is also organist and pianist at Stuart Hall School and teaches private piano lessons. She earned the Bachelor of Music Education degree at Longwood University and the Master of Music degree at University of Richmond. She has taught elementary music in public schools, accompanied many choirs and soloists as well as musicals, directed children, youth, adult and handbell choirs and been organist in a variety of churches. She lives in Staunton with her husband Bob and daughter Hannah.
